Location

Seton Spirituality Centre is located in Terence Bay in a recently renovated 12-bedroom country house originally built in 1938. We are within 40 minutes by car from the Halifax International Airport, 30 minutes from Halifax and 20 minutes from Historic Peggy's Cove. The Centre has an ocean frontage, flowers and vegetable gardens, a labyrinth, and is within 5 minutes of walking trails along the ocean shores.

Accommodation

The Centre has 6 comfortable single bedrooms and 1 suite. There are 3 meeting rooms, a chapel, library, a sunroom and a dining room (see photos). The facilities are simple yet tasteful and the meals home cooked and nutritious. Any group of any denomination whose objective is within the scope of our Mission Statement is welcome to rent our facilities for a one-day meeting, weekend or weeklong event.

Directions

From Halifax via Armdale Rotary take St. Margaret's Bay Road to Route 333 (Prospect Rd./Peggy's Cove). Travel 15.5 km along Route 333, turning left at White's Lake. Follow the road about 9 kms to Seton Spirituality Centre, which is next to Star of the Sea Church. From Truro or Halifax via Route 102 -- exit 1A then exit 2B following Peggy's Cove signs to Route 333. Once you are on Route 333, you will pass the Exhibition Park on your left. Travel along Route 333 for 15.5 kms. Turn left at White’s Lake at Terence Bay sign. Follow this road for 9 kms to Seton Spirituality Centre which is next to Star of the Sea Church.

There is no public transportation from Halifax to Terence Bay. Arrangements can be made for transportation from the airport for those making longer retreats and sabbaticals. Details about arrival/departure times and fees for transportation will be arranged at time of registration.
