All of us go through times of darkness when we suffer emotional pain and sometimes we wonder if God is trying to say something to us through this experience. This retreat day will consider darkness as much more than personal misfortune, but as a call to deep spiritual growth, a transformation that enables us to live and love more freely. This day will consist of input, personal time for reflection and participation in meditation exercises designed to assist us in praying through times of darkness.
Seton Spirituality Centre is supported and staffed by the Sisters of Charity-Halifax, an international organization based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Sisters of Charity have had a presence in Terence Bay since 1938.
