Praying With Women Mystics

Over time, many women have tried to find words to express the mystical experience of God. Mary Malone, through her prayer poems, uses modern language to interpret for us the mystical prayer of several mystics, including Julian of Norwich, Mechtild of Magdeberg and Hildegard of Bingen. We will reflect on some of these poems. Malone encourages us to find our own words that lead to a deeper intimacy with God who longs for this and is eager to show us the way.
